Japan DNP Photo would like to introduce new printing solution to our customers. You can print photos without using desktop or laptop computers but by connecting through window tablet, combined with image transmission technology via wifi network of cameras and smartphones. This solution can reduce the investment costs when applying to pucharse any desktop computer or bulky laptops, allowing the printer to conduct operations all in one. This model is very suitable to tourist resorts, amusement parks and events etc.
DNP has came up with a new idea for cost saving solution when buying a computer for printing photos, using the windows of a tablet (window tablet) to work with RX1 printer and use the similar functions such as connecting to a desktop computer or a laptop for printing. HotFolder DNP software provided by DNP is free and capable of being installed on tablets (window tablet). This software can install and design photo frames of available models etc., through this software the captured images from the camera shall be printed automatically, similar to the image receipt from smartphones via tablet (Windows tablet).
By using tablet (Windows tablet), we would like to introduce two solutions for quickly printing photos from camera phones and smart mobile via wifi and USB cable systems without using laptops and computers to you.
1) Using the camera
- Transfer pictures from the camera using a USB cable

| - Connect USB Hub with USB OnToGo cable. - Then connect to Window Tablet - Once Camera is connected to Window Tablet, system will prompt user to import photo from camera. - Option 1. – Set the import folder as default to HotFolder and the photo will be printed automatically through HotFolder (photo can be printed with customized border). - Option 2. – Select the photo from window photo viewer and print as normal. - Presetting needed for option 1. |

2) Using smart mobile phones.

| - Preset Window Tablet as a FTP Server - Set HotFolder as default folder for FTP - Download free app to mobile device. ( For Example, Android- ES file explore, IOS – FTPToConnect ) - Mobile Device and Window tablet have to be in same network. - Mobile Device need to have tethering or hotspot function (Most of the latest device will have this function) to share network. - WIFI router only needed if the mobile device does not have tethering function. - Upload the photo from mobile device using free app to windows tablet for automatically print. |
